Mrs. Amal Magzoub joined ICBA in November 2016 as Proposal Development Specialist. She provides support to ICBA’s divisions in the identification of strategic themes that address the needs, concerns and objectives of prospective donors, and the development of compelling proposals that meet the latter’s requirements.
She has nearly 17 years of experience in providing support to humanitarian and development interventions in the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, including as Programme Advisor with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Project Assistant with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She also worked as a consultant writer/editor for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), for which she authored Compendium of Rural Women’s Technologies and Innovations.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Managing Rural Development from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies.
