Mr. Rashyd Zaaboul is Climate Modeling Scientist at ICBA, bringing his wealth of expertise to the field since 2013. With over 25 years of meteorological and climatological experience, his core competency lies in the innovative development of numerical weather and climate models, specifically tailored for diverse applications, ranging from agriculture to water management.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rashyd Zaaboul has not only pioneered advancements in meteorology but has also played a pivotal role in steering international projects. His leadership and contributions have been instrumental in applying meteorology, climatology, and agro-meteorology sciences to inform decision-making processes. This interdisciplinary approach has proven invaluable in optimizing water resources management, enhancing crop production strategies, and fortifying climate-related risk management protocols.

He has published more than 10 journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings.

He holds a master’s degree in meteorology from the National School of Meteorology, France, and the Hassania School of Public Works, Morocco.
