Workshop for Regional Project: Adaptation to climate change in WANA marginal environments through sustainable crop and livestock diversification
The workshop will be held to consolidate and to prepare the final outcomes of the regional project: Adaptation to climate change in West Asia and North Africa (WANA) marginal environments through sustainable crop and livestock diversification. The first phase of this project spanned over the period 2005-2009 and the project is in the last stage of the phase two which started in 2010.
This workshop will discuss the following items:
- Review and finalize the technical report of each country
- Review and discuss project’s outcomes (synthesis reports, guideline manuals, booklets, flyers, posters, movies etc.) for each country and develop timeframe for production
- Allocate responsibilities for the achievement of project’s outcomes
- Review the possibilities of conducting scientific conference in 2015
Participating countries include Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Palestine, Oman and Yemen.
