Finance Manager

Job Summary
Manage accounts of the Center and assist with preparation of financial reports.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger using accounting software, including daily journal transactions, posting to subsidiary accounts and general ledger, preparation of trial balance and balance sheet, bank reconciliation, cash flow and income statement
    • Prepare payments, receipts, vouchers and issue checks
    • Prepare payroll, including salary, leave, overtime, gratuities, etc.
    • Arrange cost center accounts for projects/departments and prepare regular statements
    • Follow up on letter of credit and costings
    • Manage petty cash
    • Liaise with suppliers/vendors regarding invoices
    • Follow up on banking activity and funds management
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and expenditures
    • Assist in the preparation of documents for the annual audit
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
  • BA degree in accounting, business administration or commerce
  • 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of computerized accounting and inventory systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good working knowledge of English and Arabic

Desirable:
  • CPA, CA or Master’s degree
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV Experience
